About Us
In order to better contribute their skills and interests to clients in a more focused way, John Glover CISSP, CISA, CMC, and Thomi Glover M.A., M.Div., PCC, CMC, created the MayneStay Consulting Group in 1995. After many years inside organizational life, it was time to be independent. Together John and Thomi have more than 50 years of experience in the private, public and not for profit sectors of information technology, systems security management, leadership development, consulting and coaching.
John, a Certified Management Consultant and Informaton Systems Security Professional, has been in the information systems field since the early 60s. Thomi, a Certified Management Consultant, a leadership consultant and an ICF accredited Professional Coach, has been offering leadership and management development and coaching since the early 80s. Though they work in different fields, their mutual commitment to creating individual and corporate results, as well as their shared ethics and integrity create opportunities for them to support one another and their clients.
Our Mission
Our company logo, a compass, illustrates our mission. We are committed to supporting our clients in finding and maintaining direction in the turbulence and uncertainty created by constant change, a hallmark of our time. Our company name MayneStay, is also about direction and navigation. The main stay of a sailboat is essential for holding up the mast which in turn holds the main sail, which is essential for direction and stability.
We see our working lives as journeys supported by a sense of direction and stability sufficient to keep us on course. For us this is also a powerful metaphor for individual and organizational life. We believe our contributions come through the ways we help our clients navigate with purpose and conviction.
